This is a remote position when not out in the field - must reside near Fresno, CA

Stonhard is seeking professionals for Outside Sales - Strategic Account Management - Business Development to attract world‑class talent.

Role and responsibilities

  • Develop and manage business from your own office by meeting and engaging new and repeat customers in your territory; assess needs and provide consultative Stonhard solutions.
  • Conduct customer sales calls that include existing/repeat business and prospecting for new customers and projects.
  • Collaborate with your manager to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of product installation, ensuring customer satisfaction. Manage project elements including materials, field crews, and installation issue resolution.
  • Operate a full turn‑key process to support smooth installs and position future projects in other areas or buildings.
  • Participate in a structured training program spanning two years, including travel to headquarters for scheduled training.

Compensation and benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
  • Uncapped Commission potential (First 2 years average): approximately $15,000 - $40,000
  • Benefits: 401k with company match after 6 months, Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, flexible schedule, life insurance, tuition reimbursement

What is required?

  • Experience in B2B, end‑user sales; construction, commercial, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Proven success in business development and project management; ability to interact at all levels.
  • Strong ability to learn a new industry; high initiative, mature judgment, and self‑motivation.
