Job Description

FORKLIFT OPERATOR for a Fabrication Company in Jasper, TN. You will operate forklift equipment and assist throughout the plant as needed in various departments. This position is full-time temporary to hire.

Pay

• 1st shift: $15.50 per hour
• 2nd shift: $17.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

• 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday
• 2nd shift: 2:30pm-1:30am Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift to assist with the movement of materials to be processed
• Responsible for raw material and finished goods
• Handling, loading and unloading trucks
• Distribution of material to warehouse or production lines

Qualifications and Requirements

• Walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; peripheral vision; depth perception
• Work around extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather)
• Regularly lift 50 pounds, up to 75 pounds (in office assessment will be conducted)
• Background check and drug screen required
