What you’ll do
- Performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to ordering, filling, kitting, stocking, loading, and inspecting orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain valid forklift/stand-up license, complete daily forklift truck maintenance logs, and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
- Work with ERP/MRP and barcode scanner systems to manage inventory and operations.
- Maintain inventory record accuracy through accurate stock transfers and cycle counts.
- Plan and order materials as required by the operations schedule.
- Line sets and organize materials in a timely manner.
- Place materials to and from box/skid/containers and transport materials to designated areas using appropriate tools/vehicles (pallet jack, forklift, stand-up, or pac mule).
- Identify and communicate shortage parts; assist operators by lifting heavy objects when needed.
- Participate in quality improvement efforts and maintain good housekeeping practices.
- Assist in maintaining safety standards in all areas of responsibility.
- Perform required administrative tasks and prepare all required reports and communications.
- Willingness to work overtime on short notice and participate in physical inventory.
- Knowledge and application of damage parts procedures.
What you need to be successful
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Familiarity with line set practices and handling methods
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Commitment to a high standard of excellence
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Familiarity with Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- One to two years of related experience or equivalent
