Inside Higher Ed is hiring: Welding Adjunct Instructors in Charleston

Welding Adjunct Instructors at Inside Higher Ed (Trident Technical College – Thornley Campus, North Charleston, SC) – apply to join the Welding program.

Job Responsibilities

• Teach day and evening programs, from entry-level through advanced classes in Gas Metal Arc Welding - Pulse, including oxyacetylene cutting and related courses in blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding safety, and weld inspection, testing, and codes.
• Day programs are 7:00 am–3:30 pm; evening program operates Monday–Friday 2:30 pm–11:00 pm.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

• Training/teaching experience and recent welding experience.
• Must pass certification tests in each welding process taught.
• Hourly rate: $30-$40 per hour.

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching/training experience.
• Associate degree in a related area preferred.
