Job Responsibilities
Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC, is seeking Welding Instructors! These positions are based on TTC's Thornley Campus. Instructors are needed to teach day and evening programs. Responsibilities include teaching entry-level through advanced classes in Gas Metal Arc Welding - Pulse, oxyacetylene cutting processes, and related courses in blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding safety, and weld inspection, testing, and codes. Day classes run from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and evening classes operate Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

Minimum and Additional Requirements:
- Training/teaching experience
- Recent welding experience
- Pass certification tests in each welding process taught
The hourly rate ranges from $30 to $40.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching/training experience
- Associate degree in a related area (preferred)
