Overview
The Welding Engineer will optimize and develop welding processes to ensure the highest quality standards in an AS9100‑compliant aerospace hydraulic manufacturer. You will report to the Engineering Manager and join a high‑performing team in a growing company that is investing in welding capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient welding manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design and production activities.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all manufacturing operations.
- Support new product development by designing and refining production methods.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and enhance performance.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices and updated procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in manufacturing, with a focus on welding operations.
- Proficiency in TIG, Resistance welding; Laser welding is preferred.
- Experience with process optimization and production methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with industrial/manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements; AS9100 QMS knowledge is desirable.
Job Offer
- Base salary: $85,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience.
