Position Summary
The Robot Operator Level 1’s role is to set up and operate a robotic welder to meet or exceed customer specs by reading blueprints, create parts and assemblies that meet or exceed customer and productivity requirements. They are highly motivated and have a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. This role is vital to ensuring our customers’ needs are consistently met, promoting our company’s continued strong national growth.
Position Summary
The Robot Operator Level 1’s role is to set up and operate a robotic welder to meet or exceed customer specs by reading blueprints, create parts and assemblies that meet or exceed customer and productivity requirements. Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Internal Relationships: All Departments
External Relationships: Occasional and incidental contact with customers or prospective customers

- Assist higher level robot operators and receive hands on experience and training.
- Ensure machine is working properly.
- Ensure appropriate nesting program is delivered to work center
- Ensure nesting program matches print with work order
- Ensure that the correct gas, speed and consumables are applied correctly
- Accurately project completion of work orders at work center
- Ensure jobs are staged correctly after completion
- Other duties assigned
- Welding knowledge and or Welding employment experience
- Knowledge of 6S
- Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance.
- Previous experience working in industrial manufacturing industry preferred.
This position is carried out in a fabrication shop environment and as such has the following physical work requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 100lbs.
- Must be able to position welding apparatus in any position the work required.
- Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping.
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals.
