Temporary, Part-Time Positions

$12.00 - 14.00 per hour

The City of Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Department is seeking Programmers or Program Supervisors for Sports. The job will consist mostly of a weekdays and evenings schedule and weekend hours. Responsibilities include assisting with youth sports programs including basketball, flag football, and volleyball; adult volleyball leagues and other duties as assigned by Sports Specialist. Employee will be expected to work between 8-20 hours per week. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with experience in the recreation or sports management field; have demonstrated an ability to organize and supervise people of diverse backgrounds and interests; possess excellent written and oral skills; be computer literate; have demonstrated the sensitivity and ability to work within a public agency, and be willing to attend (at our cost) and be certified in Red Cross First Aid/CPR.

Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license. Experience with building custodial, grounds, aquatic facility, small tractor and/or softball field maintenance beneficial.
