Overview

CREST Education comprises two independent, coeducational schools with over 2,200 students, an Equestrian Centre and an Environmental Reserve at Clyde North. Hillcrest Christian College, established in 1981, operates from Early Learning to VCE levels. Rivercrest Christian College is an authorised International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) World School.

The College has an exciting opportunity commencing in January 2026 fulltime on a fixed term for a one-year Sport Traineeship at working with the team at Rivercrest Chrisitan College.

Position

The role is a full-time, fixed-term Sport Trainee for one year, commencing January 2026.

The position would be best suited to young people who have recently finished secondary studies or are currently in Year 12. Due to the funding arrangements, people with tertiary qualifications need not apply for the traineeship.

Responsibilities & Expectations

• Be physically fit and prepared to undertake training in sport and administration.
• Participate in a variety of sports and physical education activities.
• Set up practical classes and assist with program organization as needed.

Qualifications & Training

• Aim to complete a Certificate III or IV in Sport Development through AFL SportsReady or similar.
• Current driver's licence will be an advantage.
• National Training Wage and superannuation are paid; course costs are covered upon successful completion of the training.
