Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is hiring: Sports Coach in Houston

St. Rose of Lima Catholic School is seeking Coaches for various teams this school year. All coaches must complete an Applitrack form on the Galveston-Houston Archdiocese website, participate in online Safe Environment Training, and complete required School Annual Trainings such as Bloodborne Pathogens, First Aid & Sudden Illness, AED & CPR, Anaphylaxis & Epinephrine, and Child Abuse & Neglect. This is a stipend-only position.

Games begin in late August, with teams practicing twice and playing twice a week. The teams are part of the Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association, divided into North and South divisions, involving some travel. Parents are responsible for transportation to games.

We welcome student athletes of all skill levels, as we do not cut players. The JV team is developmental, and the Varsity team is competitive. Candidates should have coaching or playing experience, be knowledgeable about the game, possess excellent communication skills, maintain good rapport with players and parents, and serve as a good Christian example.
