Job Description: We’re currently seeking passionate and knowledgeable individuals to join us as Basketball Scorekeepers for our leagues and tournaments. As a Basketball Scorekeeper, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring fair play, accuracy, and an overall enjoyable experience for our players.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain an accurate scorebook and game clock.
2. Communicate effectively with players, coaches, and league officials, addressing any questions or concerns with professionalism and clarity.
3. Provide guidance and instruction to players as needed, promoting sportsmanship and fair play.
4. Collaborate with fellow referees and league staff to ensure smooth operations and successful game days.

Requirements:

1. Strong understanding of basketball rules and gameplay.
2. Prior experience as a scorekeeper not required, but preferred.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
4. Availability to work evenings and weekends.
5. Passion for sports and a commitment to upholding the values of fair play and sportsmanship.

Starting pay is $20/game.
