Overview

Dental Hygienist needed at Heartland Dental. Christie Dental Sebastian HWY 1 is adding a hygienist to the team. We are looking for Monday-Thursday 7:30-5:30 with occasional Fridays.

• As a Dental Hygienist, you’ll be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, giving your patients the time and care they need, deserve and desire.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in FL and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care
• Clinical needs as required by office
• Experience required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
• TB test required for new hires in dental office positions; test will be arranged during pre-employment process. Not applicable in FL & TN.
