Responsibilities and Schedule
- Provide exceptional lifetime patient care with full clinical autonomy where applicable
- Participate in the Hygiene mentor program and education offerings
- Offer preventative care and maintain patient health records in accordance with office policies
- Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure quality outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in KS and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Clinical experience as needed
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills for preventative care and maintenance of patients’ dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Availability to attend virtual or in-person training periodically
- TB test required for all new hires in dental offices (not applicable in FL & TN)
