Responsibilities and Schedule

• Provide exceptional lifetime patient care with full clinical autonomy where applicable
• Participate in the Hygiene mentor program and education offerings
• Offer preventative care and maintain patient health records in accordance with office policies
• Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure quality outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in KS and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Clinical experience as needed
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills for preventative care and maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training periodically
• TB test required for all new hires in dental offices (not applicable in FL & TN)
