Responsibilities
Provide outstanding patient care as part of the patient care team. Leverage mentorship and educational resources to enhance clinical skills and deliver lifelong care to patients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years of experience preferred
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs
- Clinical needs as required by office
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically
- TB test required for all new hires in dental offices (not applicable in FL & TN)
