Overview
The Dental Hygienist provides patient-centered oral health care and education within individualized disease prevention programs. Under the direction of supervising faculty practitioners, the Dental Hygienist performs preventive and therapeutic services, including scaling, root planing, curettage, and polishing of teeth.
