Travel Nurse Details
- Location: Douglas, WY 82633
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 15, 2025 – November 8, 2025)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,310 - $2,470
- Employment Type: Travel nursing
- Healthcare Setting: Critical Access Hospital – Obstetrics Unit
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent OBGYN or mother/baby RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse license in Wyoming or compact state
- Current BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certifications
- PALS or ENPC, ACLS, and STABLE preferred (can be completed within first 3 months)
- Experience with labor and delivery, postpartum care, and caring for sick newborns
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns in the obstetrics unit
- Assist with labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn assessments
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed
