Overview

Responsibilities

• Provide regular direction and leadership to large workforce through effective communication
• Maintain and operate a safe, reliable, cost‑effective manufacturing operation to produce required product volumes, with full regard for health, safety, and stakeholder concerns. Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all mechanical, hydraulic, electric equipment and instrumentation.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of operations information systems to monitor manufacturing efficiency
• Coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers

Role Context

This position is part of the Operations Department located onsite in Cortland, NY and will be assigned to the overnight shift after immersion is complete.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Action plan, problem solving, root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Metrics reporting and daily management
• Lead a group of associates to achieve business and production goals
• Oversee direct manufacturing operations in terms of safety, quality, productivity, and timely delivery to external customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2–5 years of work-related experience, or an associate’s degree with 5 years of related experience, or 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience
• 2+ years of experience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies
• Detailed working knowledge of Excel

Plus

• Experience in a union environment
• Experience with SAP and ADP eTime

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,000. This is the range the company believes is the range of possible compensation at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) is available to eligible employees.
