Summary

This position supports the WPL, shipping, and production departments through inventory management, including counting inventory in the 28-degree coolers, utilizing SAP and CFS software, and ensuring timely truck completion.

Shift(s)

• Monday – Friday, 5 pm – 2 am, with overtime as needed.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor product entering the 28-degree cooler, ensuring correct boxing according to customer orders and truck schedules.
• Perform daily physical inventory counts to ensure product availability for scheduled departures.
• Coordinate with production and shipping teams regarding product availability for shipments.
• Learn and operate SAP and CFS programs.
• Master product codes and departmental responsibilities related to truck shipments.
• Communicate inventory needs to production via email and paper copies every two hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management or lead associates.

Minimum Education

Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

Required: Strong reading, writing, math, computer, and analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred: Prior manufacturing experience and familiarity with SAP and CFS systems.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

• May involve moving light equipment or supplies.
• Access to files, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Approximately 50% of work is in an office environment on the production floor at about 28°F or colder.
• The remaining 50% is on the production floor, verifying customer orders and handling products colder than 35°F.
• Work environment includes wet and moist floors, with metal and plastic surfaces.
• Exposure to temperatures ranging from 28°F to 100°F with high humidity.
• Potential noise exposure up to 110dB.
• Possible contact with food processing chemicals.
• Must wear and use safety equipment as directed.
• Tasks may include bending, twisting, lifting, reaching, sitting, and grasping, with variations depending on the task.
