Position Summary

The Housekeeping Room Inspector is responsible for inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet established cleanliness and maintenance standards. This role supports the housekeeping team by providing guidance, feedback, and ensuring consistent quality across all rooms. You’ll help maintain a positive and productive work environment while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance issues.
  • Ensure rooms are properly stocked with amenities and supplies.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to room attendants to maintain high standards.
  • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate department.
  • Assist with training new housekeeping staff on procedures and standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the housekeeping team and management.
  • Support the housekeeping team during peak times or staffing shortages.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and room status.
  • Uphold hotel brand standards and Concord’s commitment to quality.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping experience required; supervisory or inspection experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
