Job Summary

The primary purpose of this job is to perform a variety of general housekeeping/cleaning duties in various areas to maintain the center in a sanitary, safe, attractive, and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

• Performs all housekeeping/cleaning duties defined in the company Housekeeping Manual, including cleaning offices, restrooms, activity rooms, kitchens, service entrances, therapy rooms, entrances/exits, utility areas, closets, lounges, lobbies, halls, and related spaces; performs emergency housekeeping as required.
• Cleans, dusts, washes, and disinfects fixtures, floors, walls, doors, ceilings; polishes and maintains furnishings; cleans ledges, shelves, vents, windows, and similar surfaces; removes curtains/drapes for cleaning; repositions furniture as needed; replenishes soap and towels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and understand directions.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
