Job Title: Assembler - 3rd Shift Builder

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler for our 3rd shift team. This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment, primarily focusing on building components. The shift runs from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with possible overtime starting at 9:00 PM and some Friday evenings.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble subcomponents and finished products using hand and power tools.

  • Operate an overhead crane to move large parts

  • Interpret assembly diagrams to determine parts, quantities, and placement.

  • Lift, climb, stand, walk, and extend arms for extended periods of time.

Essential Skills

  • Experience using hand and power tools.

  • Ability to operate an overhead crane.

  • Familiarity with assembly diagrams and schematics.

  • Capability to lift 60 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing and standing for long periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required upon permanent conversion (company offers a GED program).

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs+ independently.

Work Environment

Work in a controlled, neat, and organized facility with clearly labeled sections. The manufacturing floor is large and provides a conducive environment for efficient production. Third shift hours Sun-Thu 10pm-6:30am (possible overtime Friday evening)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
