Wieland is hiring a Maintenance Technician 3rd shift. The technician will maintain production equipment, the building, and support equipment to achieve production goals. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and mechanical failures, and performing repairs, adjustments, and modifications as directed by the Manufacturing Manager.

This role is located in Verona, VA and is fully on-site.

Schedule: 3rd Shift (Sunday - Friday, 10 pm - 6 am)

Responsibilities

• Work safely and promote safety culture
• Identify and correct potential safety hazards
• Ensure equipment availability for production
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures
• Analyze drawings, manuals, wiring diagrams, etc., for servicing equipment
• Apply preventive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions
• Contribute to preventive maintenance programs
• Manage spare parts inventory
• Perform repairs and modifications to building and support equipment
• Coordinate with outside contractors as needed
• Support maintenance scheduling and planning, including 5S activities

Qualifications

• Safety-oriented mindset
• 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
• Experience troubleshooting PLC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems, including electrical up to 480 volts
• Proactive self-starter with good communication skills
• Experience with maintenance management systems like FIIX
