At a Glance:
Pay: $52.57–$59.52/hour (this wage range includes an additional $1.50/hour worked for our 3rd Shift Differential)
Schedule: 3rd Shift, Mon–Friday 10 p.m.–6:30 a.m. (Begins Sunday at 10:00 p.m. and runs nightly through Thursday at 10:00 p.m., with each shift ending at 6:30 a.m. the next morning)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Electrician to plan, install, and repair electrical systems, fixtures, and control equipment to support our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to equipment reliability and safety.
You will be responsible for planning efficient installations, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, and developing programs for PLCs and control systems. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, supporting production needs, and training maintenance personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan new or modified installations to minimize material waste, provide maintenance access, and ensure code compliance.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit and wiring.
- Install control and distribution apparatus, including switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels.
- Observe functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards; repair faulty equipment as needed.
- Write and install PLC programs for retrofitting existing machinery.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and perform scheduled maintenance of production equipment.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required service.
- Utilize CMMS software for work orders, equipment tracking, and parts management.
- Perform root cause troubleshooting and performance analysis.
- Train maintenance personnel on equipment and procedures.
- Work with electrical equipment, including 480/230 3ph, 110 & 24vdc controls, prints, and schematics.
- Reverse engineer electrical circuits and document system operations.
- Design and build production test equipment for robust performance.
- Take ownership of equipment performance and reliability.
- Program PLCs and PCs (Allen Bradley experience required).
- Perform HMI programming, motion control system design, and implementation.
What You Will Bring
Experience: Proven expertise as a Journeyman or Equivalent in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Education/Certifications:
- Preferred: Additional training or experience in PLC programming, HMI design, and motion control systems.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and troubleshooting.
- High proficiency with electrical equipment: 480/230 3ph, 110 & 24vdc controls, prints and schematics.
- Proficiency with PLC programming (Allen Bradley), control hardware design, and system documentation.
- Ability to lead training efforts for maintenance personnel.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and root-cause troubleshooting skills.
