Pay Rate: $31.34 + $0.50 an hour shift differential

Position Summary
The Electro Mechanic is responsible for preventive maintenance of all plant equipment, including planning, scheduling, parts ordering, repairs, record-keeping, equipment recommendations, safety, and being on call as needed.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance checks on all equipment as per schedule; conduct preventive maintenance at least quarterly.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and thermal issues; make minor adjustments.
- Coordinate with outside contractors for service and repairs.
- Assist in installing new equipment, including vendor selection, specifications, testing, and adjustments.
- Order replacement parts and supplies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and generate reports.
- Procure materials and supplies as directed.
- Recommend and justify new equipment and capital improvements.
- Coordinate internal equipment moves.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic computer application knowledge.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, twist, and walk frequently.
- Availability for emergency response.
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools.
- Knowledge of automated systems and control systems.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations.
- Forklift certification.
Experience
3-5 years in industrial maintenance with strong electrical and mechanical expertise, including basic industrial electrical and PLC knowledge.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
