Overview

CytoSorbents is seeking a Manufacturing/Production Associate to work 3rd shift (10:00pm – 6:30am) in Princeton, NJ. The Manufacturing/Production Associate will perform GMP activities associated with producing, cleaning, and packaging of CytoSorb, a unique blood purification medical device used to control deadly inflammation in life-threatening illnesses in the ICU and cardiac surgery. Responsibilities

• Manufactures product according to company processes, procedures and GMP requirements.
• Weighs out raw chemicals and ingredients and charges into processing tanks.
• Controls equipment and systems that processes chemical substances into bulk batches.
• Observes chemical reactions, monitors gauges, signals, and recorders.
• Makes adjustment to operating settings, as needed.
• Handles hazardous materials and hazardous waste in compliance with local, federal, and company guidelines.
• Issues daily reports and updates to management team.
• Draws samples of product for laboratory analysis.
• Completes batch record and SOP documentation according to cGMPs.
• Records operating data such as process conditions, test results and instrument readings.
• Completes other production tasks as required, depending on available work. This may include filling, assembly, inspection, packaging and shipping tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a chemical processing or pilot plant environment OR Bachelor of Science degree with Science major and 0 years of experience.
• Must be capable of wearing required PPE, including masks and respirators.
• Must be capable of working in a cleanroom environment and meeting necessary hygiene requirements.
• Good written and verbal language skills and ability to follow SOPS.
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility and attention to detail
• cGMP and clean room experience is a plus
