Overview

Logistics Supervisor (3rd Shift) role at Siemens. Location: Grand Prairie, TX. This position requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

The primary responsibilities include Receiving, Storage, Inventory management, and Delivery to Manufacturing. The role works closely with Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Planning to support production and supervises 10-20 Team Members across 3 shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the team responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving material, storing material, picking and kitting material, and delivering material to the assembly lines.
  • Manage team scheduling and daily assignments.
  • Oversee warehouse cycle counting, identify root causes, and participate in the resolution of discrepancies related to the warehouse.
  • Interact with multiple departments across the plant to support operations.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 or more years’ experience in manufacturing or warehouse distribution environments and inventory replenishment methods (KANBAN, Vendor Managed Inventory, Consignment, etc.)
  • 2 or more years of experience supervising/leading small to medium size teams.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to work with different levels in the organization.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply-chain management are strongly desired, although a combination of education (High School Diploma or GED) and directly related work experience will also be considered.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Experience
  • Project management with proven delivery of improvement projects in a manufacturing environment
  • LEAN, Six Sigma, Root Cause and Continuous Improvement skills
  • APICS/CPM Accreditation

Pay range: The pay range for this position is $66,220 - $113,520 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
