Overview

Our Client is a leading supplier of high-quality products for the factory-built housing, RV, and modular building industries. We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team in Grand Prairie. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity ideal for candidates with prior forklift experience and a willingness to perform manual labor.

Pay is $20.00.

1st shift - 7:00 to 4:00pm M-F

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments using manual labor and forklift (approx. 10% forklift use)
• Verify and inspect incoming goods using scanners or paperwork
• Accurately receive and stock inventory in designated locations
• Lift, move, and sort boxes and inventory up to 50 lbs
• Perform general warehouse tasks including bending, lifting, and stooping
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the receiving area
• Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily receiving goals

Required Experience

• Prior experience in a warehouse or receiving role
• Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Open to lifting, bending, stooping, and manual labor throughout the shift

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Experience in a temp-to-perm or high-volume distribution center environment
• Previous exposure to scanner-based inventory tracking systems

Required Skills

• Forklift operation experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Attention to detail in receiving and stocking inventory

Preferred Skills

• Experience using barcode scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
