Overview
3rd Shift CNC Machinist – Location: Antigo, WI, US, 54409. Work Arrangement: Onsite. Shift hours: 8:00 pm to 6:00 am, Monday-Thursday; off on Fridays.

Responsibilities
- Actively promote and participate in advancing the safety culture of the facility.
- Read, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine dimensional specifications, setup, and operating requirements.
- Locate and download programs from a DNC storage system.
- Interpret work instructions.
- Identify, select and install proper tooling for operations being performed.
- Calculate proper feeds and speeds for a variety of steel grades, copper, brass, aluminum and bronze.
- Read, understand, edit and/or write programs.
- Understand capabilities of tooling and machinery.
- Understand applicable quality systems and perform necessary quality inspections.
- Adhere to all Waukesha Bearings policies and procedures.
- Seek out and participate in Continuous Improvement opportunities.
- Set up all necessary measuring equipment and routinely check the calibration of the equipment while measuring.
- Create and maintain a team-focused work environment.
Ideal Candidate – Experience, Skills, and Abilities
- One year Machine Tool Operation certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience with precision inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges.
- Our Antigo facility is under ITAR/UNNPI regulations, so you must be a US citizen.
Additional Skills
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry; apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Physical Demands
The job requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
