Shift Supervisor 3rd Shift - Downingtown, PA

This position manages and oversees operations during the third shift, including staff management, customer service, safety, and security. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing risk reduction measures to maintain a safe environment. The supervisor communicates with management about shift progress and issues, collaborating with other supervisors to improve operations.

Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in brewery, beverage, or food plant operations.
• Strong knowledge of food, beverage, safety systems, and best practices.
• Excellent team-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a food plant environment without restrictions.

Qualification Preferences:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel).
• Certifications in Food Safety, HACCP, SQF, forklift operation, and GMP are preferred.

Responsibilities & Skills:

• Production and strategic planning.
• Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; enforcing policies and procedures.
• Training employees and maintaining workflow efficiency.
• Monitoring equipment and personnel, studying methods, and implementing cost reductions.
• Developing reporting procedures, troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining quality standards.
• Ensuring a safe and clean work environment, maintaining equipment, and managing CIP systems.
• Training new staff, supervising sanitation programs, and participating in project teams for new equipment.
• Conducting sanitation audits, maintaining pre-op check sheets, and contributing to continuous improvement of SSOPs.
