Job Summary:
Our client, a fast-growing food and beverage manufacturer in Downingtown, PA, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shift Supervisor to oversee their production team during the 3rd shift (10pm-6am). This position encompasses a range of responsibilities, such as staff management, customer service, safety, and security
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise night shift production team and operations
- Plan and monitor workflow, production schedules, and shift transitions
- Coach, train, and discipline employees as needed
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards, GMPs, and sanitation protocols
- Monitor and maintain safe working environment; ensure compliance with company safety practices
- Perform and document cleaning and sanitation (CIP/COP) procedures
- Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment; escalate major issues
- Analyze production data and report nightly performance to management
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives related to process improvement, new equipment, or infrastructure upgrades
- Maintain detailed records for pre-op inspections, CIP logs, and SSOP updates
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in a food, beverage, or brewery manufacturing environment in a supervisor role
- Strong understanding of safety systems and GMP compliance
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Physically able to work in a food production plant
