Overview

SageGlass, a wholly owned subsidiary of Saint-Gobain, located in Faribault, MN, produces electronically tintable glass for windows, skylights, and curtain walls. It tints automatically or on demand to control sunlight, without shades or blinds. SageGlass transforms the indoor experience by controlling sunlight to optimize daylight, outdoor views and comfort while preventing glare, fading and overheating without the need for blinds or shades.

Responsibilities

• Handling of glass and willing to run a hoist as needed
• Continuous quality checks throughout each process
• Working with computer programs and software to run equipment properly
• Testing of product at different processes
• Maintain a clean work area - 5S
• Ability to work effectively as a team and individually
• Ability to troubleshoot and respond quickly to minimize downtime
• Strong decision making and good judgment to keep production flowing
• Ability to multi-task and get the job completed to standard

Shift, Salary and Bonus

Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM

Starting Pay: $21/hr + 20% shift differential (approximately $25.20 per hour)

Signing Bonus: $1,000

Requirements

• Good safety record
• Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures in the English language
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Glass handling experience preferred
• Advanced computer experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to lift 35 lbs
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to safely handle glass and manufacturing equipment
