Innovation Manager – North America

About the Role

We are looking for an Innovation Manager for North America (USA & Canada) to lead and deliver our in-country innovation agenda. This role will be central to shaping the North American innovation pipeline, identifying new growth opportunities, and driving the successful launch of new products and packaging. You will also oversee the local commercialization of global and regional innovation projects, ensuring they meet market needs and deliver value.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement a 3-year innovation agenda for North America, aligned with regional and local strategies.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing brands, as well as portfolio gaps and new category opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams from idea generation through to launch, managing liquids, packaging, design, finance, and legal streams.
  • Translate consumer insights and trends into winning concepts through research, testing, and collaboration with agencies.
  • Ensure all projects follow the SmartGate process, with robust planning, due diligence, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Oversee the commercialization of global/regional innovations in North America, including pricing and pack strategy.
  • Track and evaluate performance of innovations and make course corrections when needed.

About You

  • University degree with a commercial background.
  • 3–5 years of experience in brand marketing and/or innovation, ideally within FMCG.
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Business management experience (DME / P&L).
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • A forward-thinking, solutions-oriented mindset and passion for consumer-led innovation.
