Job Description

The Service Greeter/Porter is responsible for moving service customer vehicles to ensure smooth traffic flow and increased customer convenience, while maintaining an orderly service parking area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Greet all customers entering the service area with a friendly, professional attitude, answer questions, and direct them appropriately.
2. Determine if customers have an appointment, record their details, and perform a walk-around inspection for existing vehicle damage.
3. Control service traffic flow, assist with parking and loaner vehicles, and park vehicles after write-up.
4. Drive safely and report any lot damage immediately; zero lot damage is the goal.
5. Retrieve customer vehicles for pickup, wait with the vehicle, and thank customers for their business.
6. Install disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and I.D. tags in serviced vehicles.
7. Deliver keys and repair orders to the Service Advisor promptly after parking.
8. Maintain a clean and safe service drive area, free of trash and debris.
9. Drive vehicles as needed within the service lane, stalls, and parking lot.
10. Create key tags for vehicles.
11. Maintain a professional appearance.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
13. Follow all safety policies and report accidents immediately.
14. Demonstrate ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
