Responsibilities:

  1. Communicate all kitchen issues with management throughout the day.
  2. Read and write notes in the manager’s daily log in English.
  3. Attend weekly manager’s meetings and monthly staff meetings.
  4. Read the weekly memo.
  5. Complete weekly/monthly employee evaluations.
  6. Communicate with all m.o.d. when shift is completed.
  7. Provide honest reports of all events, positive and negative.
  8. Comply with policies, rules, and directions from manuals, memos, and meetings.
  9. Attend quarterly supervisor meetings.
  10. Have current food management certification.
  11. Demonstrate ownership mentality.
  12. Be flexible with scheduling; Flanigan’s operates 365 days a year.
  13. Willingness to transfer geographically.
  14. Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  15. Schedule vacations between April and November; they must be taken or forfeited.
  16. Order and formulate pars.
  17. Basic math skills: count currency, make change, use calculator.
  18. Basic computer skills.
  19. Understand and implement health code standards.
  20. Conduct timely interviews per hiring policy.
  21. Issue written evaluations for performance.
  22. Ability to see, speak clearly, listen, taste, and smell.
  23. Read and write English.
  24. Stand and move for up to 4 hours; work 50-55 hours/week.
  25. Lift up to 50 lbs.
  26. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl.
  27. Operate kitchen equipment with coordination.
  28. Adhere to dress and grooming policies.
  29. Work five days a week with two consecutive days off.
