Overview

Preschool Coordinator (Midweek) - North Campus coordinates the Preschool Midweek AWANA program for Prestonwood Baptist Church – North Campus (PBC-NC).

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and oversee Preschool volunteer teams for Midweek programs
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee Preschool ministry follow-up for visitors
• Ensure volunteer screening processes are followed
• Coordinate parent volunteers for Midweek programs
• Train, encourage, and equip volunteer teams
• Purchase and prepare items for Midweek AWANA
• Assist in onboarding volunteers at Kidz Central when scheduled
• Schedule LifeGroup substitutes when scheduled
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of PBC-NC
• Must have a passion for children
• Experience in recruiting volunteers preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products
• Able to work Wednesday nights, some hours every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with flexibility for weekday shifts
• Able to perform physical activities that require moving the whole body, such as walking, stooping, lifting, pushing/pulling a cart, using stairs, and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs
