7-Eleven, Inc. is looking for an ambitious Communications Associate Manager to join its fast-paced, highly-motivated Corporate Communications team.

As Communications Associate Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing communications strategies to build, change and/or positively reinforce 7-Eleven’s reputation; including development and execution of media interviews, press releases, speaking engagements, promotional assets and more.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for developing, managing and creating external communication strategies.
  2. Develop and execute media interviews, press releases, speaking engagements and promotional assets.
  3. Maintain relationships with internal clients, including executives, to develop effective communication plans for external audiences.
  4. Work cross-functionally to mine data supporting communication plans.
  5. Manage promotional assets to positively present the Brand to external audiences.
  6. Maintain positive relationships with the media proactively sharing news and managing reactive inquiries.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends across the convenience, retail and QSR space.

Qualifications

  1. 4+ years of corporate communications experience
  2. Strong, clear and concise communication and writing skills
  3. Ability to work under tight deadlines
  4. Exceptional attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills
  5. Previous QSR, Retail or Franchisee experience a plus
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
