7-Eleven, Inc. is looking for an ambitious Communications Associate Manager to join its fast-paced, highly-motivated Corporate Communications team.
As Communications Associate Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing communications strategies to build, change and/or positively reinforce 7-Eleven’s reputation; including development and execution of media interviews, press releases, speaking engagements, promotional assets and more.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing, managing and creating external communication strategies.
- Develop and execute media interviews, press releases, speaking engagements and promotional assets.
- Maintain relationships with internal clients, including executives, to develop effective communication plans for external audiences.
- Work cross-functionally to mine data supporting communication plans.
- Manage promotional assets to positively present the Brand to external audiences.
- Maintain positive relationships with the media proactively sharing news and managing reactive inquiries.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends across the convenience, retail and QSR space.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of corporate communications experience
- Strong, clear and concise communication and writing skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills
- Previous QSR, Retail or Franchisee experience a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
