Overview
Northeast Medical Group, Inc. seeks Night Hospitalists to work at Yale New-Haven Hospital's locations in New Haven, CT. Night Hospitalists will provide comprehensive medical care in internal medicine to adult inpatients through admissions, cross coverage, and discharge; contact patients' Primary Care physicians about in-hospital and follow-up care; provide hospital diagnosis to Primary Care physicians; and manage new prescriptions and treatments.
Night Hospitalists will cover evenings and weekends and will assume the Attending Physician role during occasional weekend day shifts.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree (foreign equivalent accepted)
- CT physician license prior to employment
- Completion of Internal Medicine residency program
- Board Eligible/Certified in Internal Medicine
