Night Audit role at Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC – Homewood Suites by Hilton/Buffalo-Airport, 760 Dick Road, Cheektowaga, NY 14225. Our Homewood Suites by Hilton is located off I-90, two miles from Walden Galleria Mall and Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Downtown Buffalo businesses, Erie County Medical Center, and KeyBank Center are within 20 minutes. Buffalo Zoo and Buffalo Canalside are nearby. Our hotel has 77 spacious suites with separate bedrooms and in-suite kitchens. We are an extended stay hotel and serve a daily complimentary breakfast. The Homewood Suites by Hilton/Buffalo- Airport is one of 50 hotel properties owned and managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates.

The Night Auditor is the face of the hotel during overnight hours and provides superior service to all guests.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests, completing the check-in/check-out procedure through the Property Management System while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handling cash, credit card information and goods at the property.
• Identifying the needs of each guest and providing information regarding the hotel services and amenities to create an accommodating environment; respond to guest requests in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations from incoming calls; inputting all pertinent information into the hotel management system; updating and canceling reservations as requested by the guest.
• Organizing previous shift paperwork, closing and balancing all room accounts and vouchers, investigating and analyzing out-of-balance situations, running trial balance reports and night audit.
• Preparing guest folios for express check out.

Pay range: $17.50-$18.50

• Customer service experience in a hotel setting (preferred).
• Hilton experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Computer knowledge including intranet, Property Management System, Word, and Excel (strongly preferred).
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving history subject to company approval.
• Typical Schedule: Overnights, 11 PM – 7 AM; weekend availability needed.
