Role Summary

A qualified candidate is responsible for driving our company vehicle safely and efficiently to transport test items from our clients on a timely basis, adapt to last minute changes, and keep the vehicle clean and well maintained. Our Courier Drivers are the face of the company, providing pleasant and courteous communication with our clients and fellow employees, exhibiting a high degree of professionalism, sound independent judgement, reliability, initiative and high standards of ethics. This position will report to the Client Services Manager.

What You'll Do

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Pick up test samples from various clients’ facilities and deliver supplies as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous service to our clients.
• Document work activities
• Adapt to changing travel schedules and the flexibility to travel
• Be cooperative with the Client Services team and provide support as needed
• Flexibility and motivation to improve processes and ideas
• Obey all traffic laws and the Matrix Sciences driver manual
• Perform basic equipment maintenance as necessary - i.e. checking vehicle fluids, oil, transmission, water, windshield wiper fluid, etc. Be able to check tire pressure, adding air if needed and change a flat tire if necessary
• Communicate with supervisors, employees, and other departments in dealing with any issues related to performing their role
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma
• Ability to travel and flexibility to drive as needed
• Hold a clean driving record.
