Job Description

Objective: To provide exceptional customer service to all members by providing orientations and giving suggestions and assistance concerning exercise. To encourage participation in club-designated fitness programs.

Reports to: Fitness Director

Game Plan

• Arrive 5 - 10 minutes early, dressed in appropriate uniform and prepared for the first appointment or job task.
• Provide at least one program check per hour.
• Greet and meet 5 new members per day.
• Orient new members on proper use of equipment.
• Observe the fitness area to ensure member safety and enforce all rules and regulations.
• Schedule and conduct fitness assessments.
• Start and end appointments on time.
• Maintain and clean the fitness equipment and area.
• Interact with members to ensure satisfaction with their fitness programs.
• Assist members with fitness needs when not orienting or assessing, and identify equipment needing attention.
• Attend mandatory department meetings.
• Promote ongoing activities to members.
