Job Description

Objective: To provide exceptional customer service to all members by setting up exercise programs, offering suggestions, and assisting with exercises. To encourage participation in club-designated fitness programs.

Reports to: Fitness Director

Responsibilities:

• Arrive 5-10 minutes early, dressed in appropriate uniform, prepared for appointments or tasks.
• Conduct at least one thorough facility check per hour.
• Greet and meet at least 5 new members daily.
• Provide safe and effective fitness programs.
• Orient new members on proper equipment use.
• Monitor the fitness area for safety and enforce rules.
• Schedule and conduct fitness assessments.
• Start and end appointments on time.
• Maintain and clean fitness equipment and areas.
• Interact with members to ensure satisfaction with their fitness programs.
• Assist members with fitness needs when not training or assessing, and identify equipment needing attention.
• Attend mandatory department meetings.
• Promote ongoing activities to members.
