City of Mentor, Ohio is hiring: Fitness Attendant in Mentor

Overview

Fitness Attendant role at City of Mentor, Ohio. Position located at the Mentor Community Recreation Center on Heisley Road. Reports to facility management and supports daily operation of the fitness area.

Responsibilities

• Operate the facility on a daily basis and enforce policies and procedures of the fitness areas.
• Provide a safe and clean environment for all facility users.
• Conduct new member orientations and assist members as needed.
• Monitor and maintain fitness equipment and ensure overall facility safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• General knowledge of fitness equipment and basic exercise.
• Ability to regularly lift 10 pounds and up to 50 pounds at times.
• Availability to work evenings and/or weekends.
• Commitment to monitoring the facility consistently.

• Position type: Part-time
• Hours: approximately 20-25 hours per week
• Starting pay: $12.50 per hour
• Location: Mentor Community Recreation Center, Mentor, OH
