Overview

Fitness Service Manager role at Gold’s Gym SoCal Group. Lead a team to deliver exceptional service and drive revenue through sales excellence, leveraging knowledge of products and programs to foster a healthy, productive, and engaging community.

Responsibilities

  • Encourage members to take advantage of diverse fitness offerings and inspire teammates to do the same.
  • Build and lead a high-performing membership team aligned with company initiatives.
  • Ensure project and department milestones are met within approved budgets.
  • Enforce club rules and policies while promoting proper procedures.
  • Provide feedback to the General Manager on performance gaps and assist with hiring recommendations.
  • Manage personal training sales generation and monitor key metrics.
  • Train staff to generate leads and new business.
  • Conduct regular meetings with direct reports to review performance and offer guidance.
  • Serve as manager-on-duty as needed to resolve member concerns.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in personal training techniques and sales.
  • Strong business judgment and analytical skills.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current CPR Certification and National Certification as a Personal Trainer.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • 5-10 years of multi-unit management experience in sales-driven environments.
  • Proven track record of translating strategy into actionable initiatives that drive results.
  • Willingness to travel between club locations.
  • Fitness Certification from a recognized authority.
  • Preferred BA or BS degree, particularly in a sales-related field.
  • Bilingual preferred.

Compensation: $70,000.00 per year
