Hours: 2:15pm - 10:45PM

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00

Purpose: Packaging Forklift Operator

The Packaging Forklift Operator will be responsible for movement & location tracking of bulk ingredients & finished products throughout the facility using a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Barrett's ERP system, Plex, for location of bulk product
• Ensure quality of bulk product by inspecting product prior to movement
• Scan bulk product onto the packaging line it will hang on
• Safely hang 2,000lb bulk product on the packaging line & notify the packaging operator
• Weigh any bulk product that did not get packaged into smaller bags & report it to the packaging operator
• Ensure FIFO
• Enter product information & print labels for pallets in our ERP system, Plex
• Screen kibble as necessary
• Conduct daily forklift inspections and complete paperwork
• Wrap & transport finished pallets to the warehouse & stage for shipping
• Count and check orders as they are packaged for accuracy

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Ability to be on feet and walking throughout the eight-hour day.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and push, pull, lift up to 50lbs
