Overview

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Storeroom Attendant / Forklift Operator in Key West, Florida. Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Hourly pay: $18.97 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours of production.
• Other duties as assigned.

Products/Equipment

• Management of inbound products such as bolts, cables, reels, wires, anchors, etc.
• Equipment: Stand-up and Sit-Down Forklifts and Pallet Jacks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Must have a clean driving record, a personal vehicle, and travel within the area approximately 25-50% of the day.
• Strong technical aptitude including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, scanners and entering orders into a WMS system.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted; able to work indoors and outdoors.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License; 1 year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently and as part of a team; capable of working in a diverse environment.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up; punctual with good attendance; able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs; able to stand for long periods; flexible schedule on various shifts.
