Position overview

We are looking for a talented and committed Talent Acquisition Coordinator to play a critical role in supporting LJAs employee-owned brand culture at local college campuses in the markets we operate. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator focuses on supporting the hiring of entry level employees and interns through a blend of on-campus recruiting, with some direct sourcing activities. You will partner closely with our HR teams and hiring managers to build successful college partnerships and enhance our internship program.

Responsibilities
  • Support recruitment efforts within the assigned territory for all early career hiring needs.
  • Coordinate and participate in campus recruiting events, including career fairs, info sessions, and office visits.
  • Support logistics and ensuring engaging promotional materials are available at all recruiting events to enhance candidate experience and employer branding.
  • Post job openings, review candidate applications, conduct phone interviews, and schedule interviews in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Facilitate the hiring process from offer decision-making to onboarding, including preparing offer packages, submitting offers, collecting new hire documentation, and coordinating background checks.
  • Conduct candidate interviews to assess alignment with job requirements.
  • Provide recommendations to improve recruitment processes, enhance campus presence, and attract high-quality talent at career fairs and hiring events.
  • Support the execution of summer internship programs, including event facilitation, wrap-up sessions, conversion processes, and intern offboarding.
Education and qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources or related fields
Required qualifications
  • 6+ months of Talent Acquisition Coordination experience
  • Must be able to travel to career fairs each spring and fall semester (approximately 30% during peak season)
  • Self-starter with high integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and internet tools
