- End Date: January 19, 2026
- Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts (08:00 – 16:30), Monday–Friday
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1010-$1040
- Patient Visits: 6 per day
- Mileage: Reimbursed at $0.55/mile (territory covers 40–80 miles)
- Charting System: EPIC
- Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks (cancellation policy applies)
Qualifications For Travel CNA – Glen Carbon, IL
- Active Illinois CNA license (required at time of submission)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent home health CNA experience
- Previous travel CNA experience required
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Local travelers are permitted for Certified Nurse Assistants
Home Health CNA Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes
- Assist with ambulation, feeding, turning, repositioning, and hygiene needs
- Perform bed baths, perineal care, skin care, and shower assistance
- Change linens (occupied and unoccupied beds)
- Support safe patient transfers using transfer belts, wheelchairs, and Hoyer lifts
- Obtain and document vital signs (blood pressure, respirations, pulse, temperature)
- Provide routine catheter care and support with bedside commodes, bedpans, and urinals
- Maintain infection control practices, including PPE use and isolation precautions
- Clean and maintain medical equipment as needed
- Report changes in patient condition promptly to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Travel within assigned territory (40–80 miles) to deliver home health services
