- Assignment Duration: 6 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1120-$1200
CNA Qualifications And Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification – Vermont or compact state
- BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
- Minimum 2 years of recent CNA experience in hospital or long-term care (LTC) settings
- Previous travel CNA or healthcare contract experience required
- Long-term care (LTC) experience required
- Ability to float between hospital units as needed
- Reliable personal or rental transportation required (no public transit access)
- Complete employment history with explanations for any gaps over 30 days
- Covid and Flu declinations accepted (documentation required)
- Background check: 7-year nationwide/county court searches, FACIS3, sex offender check (within 18 months of start), FACIS 3 and VCIC (within 30 days of start)
CNA Responsibilities in Hospital Setting
- Deliver high-quality patient care and clinical support in a hospital environment
- Assist patients with daily living activities: personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition
- Monitor and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Support nursing and medical staff with patient care procedures and clinical tasks
- Float between units to meet patient care needs across the hospital
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
