Overview

Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) opportunity with Fusion Medical Staffing in Grand Marais, Minnesota. 13-week travel assignment with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Record vital signs and monitor patient conditions.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting) and mobility support.
• Support feeding and meal assistance as needed.
• Document patient care and observations accurately and timely.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Perform other duties within the scope of practice as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent CNA experience.
• Valid CNA registration in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Other certifications may be required depending on facility requirements.

Essential Skills

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication.
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions; PC skills.
• Physical ability to perform duties (standing, moving, lifting 50-100 lbs, bending, pushing/pulling).
• Team collaboration and professionalism when working with diverse personnel.
• Ability to maintain concentration and manage schedules under varying demands.
• Sensory acuity for accurate patient assessment and effective communication.
