Village Caregiving Cleveland is looking for a compassionate caregiver/CNA to join our growing team in the Mogadore, OH area.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Help with mobility around the house.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Assist patients with their meals, including serving and other related tasks, to support daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and learn new skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties required by the role.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation daily.
• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Availability to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environments.
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, or completion of a CNA program.
• Supportive, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality care.
